AAPI Month came to close yesterday and even though we honor and celebrate in May, we should continue to recognize our AAPI community in our colleges and universities all over the United States everyday. Hailing from Seattle and performing all over the world, Nash Fung is an innovator in the field of magic who routinely creates never before seen illusions. LEX the Lexicon Artist is a nerdcore/alternative rapper based in the SF Bay Area. A graduate of UC Berkeley, LEX began the Lexicon Artist project in 2016, by writing and performing original songs inspired by her multicultural upbringing, her life experiences and popular culture. Since then, LEX has performed at colleges and anime, gaming, and technology conventions across the country, connecting to thousands of fans with her relatable songs about nerd culture and personal identity. In May 2018, LEX received a grant from the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center in San Francisco and organized an Asian-American rap showcase as part of their United States of Asian America Festival.
Mental Health and Wellness Speaker and Advocate Sam Louie
Sam Louie is a psychotherapist, author, spoken word artist and Emmy Award-Winning former journalist who provides culturally relevant, diversity messages and trainings focused on building awareness, sensitivity, improving cultural competencies while fostering a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment.
Sam’s keynotes and workshops are not only educational but also inspirational where he draws from the collective experiences of his clients as well as his own upbringing as a first-generation Asian immigrant to the United States. Sam weaves together personal anecdotes, clinical examples, and world events and delivers his messages and workshops in a manner that is interactive through spoken word poetry, videos, and group exercises.

Holding degrees in Human Sexuality and Biology, Dr. Megan Stubbs is an energetic multi-media savvy Sexologist. She has been building a brand that has sexual wellness, education, and pleasure at the forefront. With her respective degrees, she is able to combine two of her favorite things, science and sex, into a cohesive platform to impact her audience.
She offers presentations on a wide variety of topics including sexuality education, positive body image, and self-care.
