Aziza is a mom, a stand up comedian, a community organizer and a social architect. She’s driven by her love for comedy, cultures, and communities. The eldest daughter of 6, she's always been a boss. She was born in Libya and raised between Dubai (UAE) & Canada. Her move to New York City ignited her love for comedy. Aziza has her bachelors in Architectural Engineering and her Masters from New york University in Urban Planning. She made the jump into the event planning world, and fostered a love for community organizing. Her natural sense of humour, and love for public speaking led her to the world of comedy. There she took that world by storm. Her first on stage performance was at the legendary Apollo theater in Harlem, New York, where she found herself performing in front of an audience of 1500 people. Since then Aziza has travelled across the United States, spreading her story and laughter. Her comedy is light-hearted, educational and hilarious! She's graced the stages of the major Comedy Clubs in the United States, from The Comedy Store, The Improv, Gotham Comedy Club, The Cellar, and more. Aziza has shared the stage with Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Preacher Lawson, Nimesh Patel, Maz Jobrani and a handful of other headliners. When she's not performing, she's building community wherever she lands. Aziza is a big believer in making the performance arts accessible to all, "No one can tell my story better than me, and if I don't tell it, who will?"
